United 93
United 93 isn't the type of movie you like or dislike. It'a a movie of a matter of fact. These events that occured in the movie were so powerful and will always stick in my mind. I thought the movie did an amazing job to depict what actually happened but no movie will ever do it justice. I think the actors of the hijackers also did a good job because it made me think about what I would do if I was put in that position. This movie made me think even deeper to the events that actually happened and it is truly a scary image and an unfortunate reality for the people involved. I can't even wrap my head around the feelings these people must have had as they learned their plane was hijacked. The part where everyone was calling their loved ones was also very moving and realistic. I can't imagine having to call my family saying goodbye because I was on a plane that had been hijacked. That part really made me think how unbelievably frightened these people were. If I was in that situation I really don't know what I would do. This movie was really informative for me because I never really thought about the events leading up to the attack such as the plane ride over to the incident. After seeing this movie gave me another perspective on 9/11 that will never be forgotten.

I agree with Jordan's point that the movie did an amazing job to depict what actually occurred. I think that the actors of the hijackers did do a great job to play the role and act like they weren't sure how everything was going to turn out. I also agree with her and would be very frightened if I was aboard the plane when it was hijacked. I wouldn't really know how to react but also at that point my life is already in the hands of the hijackers so I would fight back.
ReplyDeleteI for one really disliked this movie in terms of what actually happened on the flight and I'm sure many of my classmates would feel the same way. I think the movie did a great job at showing what actually happened during the flight and seeing how chaotic everything was on the ground I'm not sure what I would've done. Overall, I enjoyed this movie but didn't enjoy what happened to our nation as a whole.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you saying that this is a movie of fact. I can see how many people would dislike this movie because of the content of it. Obviously nobody would deny that this was a horrific and terrifying time for our country and will forever be remembered, but I agree that the movie was extremely impactful and made me think much deeper into the events of that day.
ReplyDeleteJordan, I would have to agree with you. I think the actors portraying themselves as hijackers, played their role great. This movie also made me think a lot about what these people had to go through. I don't know how I would handle this situation but, i know I wouldn't want to lose my life. I will never forget watching this film and the people who died in 9/11 will never be forgotten.
