My Introduction

Hi!! My name is Jordan H.  I would say that a word that describes me best is caring. I care about a lot of things like school, friends, family, sports, and of course movies! My goals include to be a well rounded person and start a family.   My interests include playing volleyball, movies, family, and friends. I like school because I get to learn new things everyday, and also make memories with my friends. On the other hand, I dislike school because I feel like it has become very stressful and grades have taken far too much priority over other things. The qualities of my favorite teacher are that they are able to provide help other than in class, for example after or before school.  Also, I believe teachers should be honest with their students because I am always honest with my teachers. I feel like honesty goes along way in the classroom.  History is one of my favorite subjects because I feel like history is one big story. I enjoy learning about events that happened in the past and find it really interesting to see how history even repeats itself.

I am disappointed in humanity for the way the 21st century has taught people about technology.  Technology has been created to make lives easier but at the same time I feel as though people are abusing the way technology works.  For example, people used technology to hack into peoples accounts like the Target incident.  People are able to violate personal documents of things using technology to benefit themselves, not thinking of the other people they're hurting.  Also, the abuse of technology is apparent when teenagers cyber bully.  Whether it be on the computer or on the cell phone people use it as a way to communicate negative things about another person.  Lastly, I am disappointed with the way society treats and uses technology is because of the media .Photographers and other news related people have become so nosy and totally violate the privacy of many celebrities.  Although, in the past century technology has helped with a lot of things, I think it has taken a downturn in humanity.
